i would like to begin lactation again although I am not pregnant. I know it is possible. Is there a support group or email contact to help with that? Thank you for your help.
Hi Helen! Please feel free to email any of our leaders (using the links above) for more information about relactation. In the meantime, this page might provide you with some insight:http://www.llli.org/nb/nbrelactation.html
Hi!
I’m interested in attending your Wednesday morning meetings at Rex wellness at 10 am, are they still being held?
I’m a first time mom and having a lot of soreness with feeds and was just told my baby is not gaining weight despite feeds every 2/2.5 hours?
Looking for help an support.
Than you so much 🙂
Yes, our Wednesday meetings in Knightdale are still being held. We will have one this Wed. the 5th at 10 am. We would love to have you attend and hopefully the moms and leaders can offer you some helpful support! Let me know if you have any other questions, look forward to meeting you and your baby!
Hello I’m a new grandma to Apollo born December 1st. He is not latching on. Autumn is a first time mom and I breastfed my children yet we can’t seem to get baby to eat. Any help and information on meetings appreciated. She lives near Knightdale.
I’m successfully nursing my third child who is nearly 8 weeks old…but she absolutely refuses the bottle. I have to go back to work in two months so there’s time to work on this, but wondering if you had any tips or resources you can share.
It is stressful to navigate going back to work and breastfeeding your baby. The good news is that your baby will be a completely different being in 2 months. Here is a good article on ideas to try: http://www.llli.org/faq/bottle.html You can also come to a meeting soon where you will find even more valuable experiences from other mothers who have dealt with just this issue. Congratulations on your new little one!
Thank you so much Abbey, this article is very helpful. Thanks also for reminding me that she will be so different in two months! I shouldn’t worry too much at this point then. I may check out a meeting as well for more discussion and insight.
I am trying to donate my breast pump. Would you be able to take it?
